Hajj packages as you probably have gathered by now are not cheap these days, and as years pass by they are getting more and more expensive. If you are thinking of going for Hajj this year then this is a very blessed thought and its only from Allah that this thought has come, so don’t let the high price of Hajj packages put you off.
With Umrah packages, you have a choice, you may pick and choose what you want, you may choose not to have a hotel or have meals included, flights may or may not be inlcuded, or you may choose not to take an umrah package at all, but with hajj packages, you don’t enjoy the same luxury, infact you are not able to go for Hajj without some sort of hajj package.
With most Hajj packages what you will find is that the package will include everything like visas, transportation to the airport, internal transfers in Saudi Arabia, accomodation etc. You will also find that there are certain Hajj packages that come only witht he basic needs and hence the price for such packages is quite less compared to those Hajj packages which come with certain luxuries like comfortable bedding in Mina, food in Mina, 4 and 5 star hotels in Makkah and Madina. Now this is for you to decide that do you want your hajj package to include all these luxuries or not? Another point I want to make is that after you have paid for yor package, when you are there there won’t be that many expenses you have to bear apart from any shopping you do there.
Alhamdulillah, I had the privilege of going for Hajj in 2008, I had looked at many Hajj packages but many were simply out of my budget, I mean we are talking about £4000-£5000 per person, that was just to much. Luckily, I came across a very modestly priced hajj package which was £6500 for 3 people. I have spoken to the tour operator and he will be running Hajj packages this year as well and the price I believe will be competitive this year as well, I went with Dhamac Travel based in Leicester, their website is dhamactravel.co.uk, the site at the moment is not showing any hajj packages but if you call Abdi, I am sure he will let you know the prices of his Hajj packages.
